tapioca pudding ten rooms cafe royal london

Friends, please excuse that there were only giveaways published in the last days but there was so much to do and even the giveaway postings took much more time as expected. However, I finally got a new #cookformesunday article for you guys. This time from London..

As you know I went to London almost 2 weeks ago. It was a phenomenal trip, I had, and also a wonderful hotel where I was staying for the short time I was abroad. It was the Café Royal, a five star luxury hotel where all my vegan food dreams came true.

As you guys can might expect it isn't always easy to travel as a clean eating vegan not eating gluten, sugar, wheat, only a little salt and low fat. I always guess that one day the kitchen chef comes out and tries to catch me with a knife.

Well, this trip was so enormously different that it's even hard do find words for.
I had the most amazing dinner in the hotel restaurant "Ten Rooms". If you are ever in London you should definitely go there and eat vegan. I was extremely spoiled and everyone just took so much care about me and my special wishes. I'm aware that most people are so stressed when I order but not this time.

For a 3 course menu I had as a starter a salad, with a fresh sauce of paprika, tomato and carrot, topped with chickpeas; for the main dish I had tomato sauce with tofu and red quinoa and for dessert I got a huge exotic fruit salad, including my favorite fruits, dragon fruits.

A total highlight was the tapioca pudding, which was served as a surprise and not even ordered - it was so good!

I couldn't have been any happier with this vegan menu and looking forward to visit the Ten Rooms again when going back to lovely London.

Oh and not to forget - I got my favorite tea, Jasmine tea, made from fresh leaves, served to my menu.
