I know Christmas
is already over but I thought for this cook with me Monday it's time to show
you what I had prepared for my Christmas dinner. Today I will show you the
starter which was on my menu...
I prepared
something that we people in Germany call Zwiebelmettwurst. As you guys know I'm
a vegan so I made a meatless version of that type of sausage. For that I used
rice waffles which I put into tomato paste with salt, onions and pepper. After
I mixed everything gently with a fork I put it into the fridge over night.
On the next
day I placed the Zwiebelmettwurst on a rice waffle and garnished everything
with dried flowers and anise. On side I had a puree of lentils, mixed with
herbals and nut butter.
This recipe
is actually very simple and not only for a special menu but also for your daily
diet.
