Already one week past since
we've been travelling to London for fashion week. It has been an amazing time
and spontaneously we even decided to stay a little longer since we got a love
he offered by the Taj hotel to be their guests for one more night..
Earlier that week we were even invited for the Alice
in Wonderland inspired afternoon tea. The article about that it's about to
follow but be prepared for something really "sweet".
We were so excited to visit the hotel again, since
we've been already mind blown by our first visit . The Taj hotel is a wonderful luxury hotel in the heart of London close to Victoria station. It is Only 10
minutes by bus to Piccadilly Circus and a few minutes by walk to the Buckingham
palace.
When we have arrived we had someone to help us
with the luggage and who brought us to our suite located in the fifth floor. After our arrival and a short rest we requested a
hotel tour. One of the duty managers was so friendly to show us around.
Our first stop were the exclusive suites which are up
to £10,000 a night. There is the Bollywood and the Jaguar suite. Sadly we only
had a change to visit the Bollywood suite since the Jaguar suite was already
booked.
The Bollywood suite has not only been unbelievable huge,
also the pieces of decor were countless. Next to colorful film posters, we found plates on
the wall, a lot of luxurious furniture and even a movie room. The suite has two
bedrooms and a full furnitured kitchen. One is for sure, the guests of this
suite never want to leave again.
Both of us became really big fans of the wellness
center which offers treatments designed by La Sultana de Saba. We were welcomed
by the friendly therapists and saw some of to treatment rooms and got
explained some of the treatments.Beside a huge fitness center there is also a sauna area to chill down after a stressful day in London.
Our evening has been upgraded with a dinner at Bistro
51. The chef Sriram Atur and his creations
were very tasty and brought together the best of Indian south west coastal
cuisine.
When we came back to our suite my heart has been
touched by a wonderful surprise. The kitchen had prepared a cookie with my blog
name on it , which had been super surprising and honoring for me.
On the next day we had breakfast, which was also
located at Bistro 51. The breakfast was typically 'English', which made it a
little hard for me as a vegan. However I was prepared with fresh fruits, gluten
free bread and avocado, so as fresh tea.
After our breakfast it was already time to pack our suitcases and head to the airport. We were very happy about this
additional night in London and it has been a great experience. We want to thank
the Taj hotel for the spontaneous invitation and the memorable stay.
