During my
stay in Paris I visited the Cafe Antonia in the hotel Le Bristol. I enjoyed an
afternoon tea and want to share my impressions of the visit in today's
article..
Paris is
well known for sugared treats. Especially macaroons are always attractive to
the tourists. For me as a vegan that decision has not been completely easy. I
found a wonderful authentic and beautiful place in Paris, where I went to with
my mother, as I invited her to Paris for a late mother's day gift.
At the Le Bristol
we were warm welcomed by the kind hotel team and guided to our table. The whole
setting was very luxurious and detailed. With a colorful tea menu which looked
like a fairytale book, we selected out teas before the selection of vegan and
vegetarian sweets and sandwiches arrived.
The entire
setting was perfect. The room was filled with warm light, flowers and a fresh
breeze of delicious smells was all around in the air.
First of
our tea has been served, whereby the hotel stall in Cafe Antonia prepared a
breathtaking selection for our afternoon tea.
My mother
loved every single detail and also I have to admit that the setting has been
perfect. With fresh and warm scones and real gold on top of the food it could
hardly have been more satisfying to look at the food and even eat it.
I focused
more on the sandwiches, which were a perfect combination of fine vegetables and
very delicious. As my mum enjoyed mainly the sweets, she said it has been the
best desserts during our stay in pairs. Each detail was perfectly prepared and
the sense for and individual and creative expression of the chef was not only shared
through eating but more than visible through each single detail.
Cafe
Antonia in the hotel Le Bristol is definitely a leader in what they do and must
visit hot spot while visiting Paris.
