Winter has
luckily not completely arrived but the cold temperatures coming closer to my
home town and it is time to realize that also I should finally wrap up in
warmer clothing. I styled a mix of autumn and winter look for today's outfit
post to provide some inspo for this tricky weather situation..
Photos of
me in jeans are absolutely rare. I usually do not enjoy wearing jeans coming
from the fact that I work out regularly and I still got the "every day is
leg day look", which means I do now have the typical fashionable skinny
shooting legs but very trained legs. Not only finding but fitting a jeans isn't
easy at all for me. Sometimes I find a jeans that fits and keeps me warm during
the colder days, so as this one by Levis which is having a great fit and a high
waist cut. I love that I can style the jeans for a casual look.
Lately I
discovered a new obsession with layering. I have always been into layering,
especially in the cold seasons, but I started to layer bloused and sweaters
with each other, mostly in very different colors. For this look I styled my
blue esprit blouse with a yellow sweater from element Eden. That I like most
about these pieces is that they each have a very unique design.
The esprit
got its perfect touch up with the white doves on it, while the sweater is
having sharp and small cut outs which build the design and shapes inside the
sweater. Both make a great combination of color, design and style.
As I was up
to create a layering look I styled it with a long vest I found once in London
during fashion week. The combination of all these pieces should be visible
trough the shooting, so I was thinking about a different kind of jacket, why I
actually ended up with this cool long vest. As it was still a little cool with
this combination I decided to give the look a finish with an oversize scarf.
The scarf is also colored in warm and earthy shades which make again a great
fit with the entire combination.
As I'm well
known for color blocking I included this kind of style into my look. I decided
to give the look a twist with its accessories. My dark wine-red ankle boots are
comfortable and perfectly matching to the blue color of the jeans. As blue is
my favorite color I added also my radley London bag with it fitting with the
other cold color of the look.
I hope you
enjoy this outfit and also find a way for yourself to wrap yourself with warm clothes
and a nice stlye.
