I had a wonderful stay at the Prince Gallery hotel during my travel through Tokyo. First, I was lucky ask the hotel is very center, it even has a direct connection to the monorail, shops and restaurants. Today I will give you an impression about my stay and experience of the hotel which is part of the luxury collection..

When I checked in I also received a voucher for a complementary sake tasting. My room was in the 34th floor, just next to the hotel lounge which opens daily for breakfast, afternoon tea and light dinner, so as drinks.

All the rooms are equipped with the latest techniques. All the lights and services are controlled through an iPad. One will also be provided with information about the hotel, so as weather forecast and recommendations for sightseeing. The room is split into three parts. One of these parts is the main living area, which has the bed and working desk.

The other part is the bathroom, which has 3 rooms: toilet, shower and bathtub cabin and sink with a mirror. The third part, my favorite one by the way, is the panorama window, which symbolizes a painting. One will overlook the Tokyo skyline. For those who dare one can even step a little over the seating area. I can tell, I never closed the curtains, I simply couldn't resist the view.

After a little break in the room and some snacks of the provided fruit basket I went to the lounge for afternoon tea. I was surprised but all the beautiful pastry and even Japanese candy. It was too beautiful to eat it but I took many photos in exchange.

As mentioned in the beginning I even received a complimentary sake tasting through my check in. I don't drink but I wanted to take some photos. Sake is rice wine and very famous and popular all over Japan. I shared the drinks which some other guest, who absolutely enjoyed it. The same tasting takes place at the Souten Washoku bar, which is accessible through the 36th floor and a staircase to the 35th floor. The restaurant also opens for dinner.

After my first night, I got really excited for breakfast. While the lounge also opens for breakfast, I wanted to explore oasis garden, located next to the lobby. The Oasis Garden offers a huge buffet which fresh ingredients and national food. Also diet related request will be taken care of. After the breakfast, I decided for a little walk in the area.

The sky garden terrace and the historical buildings are one of the highlights and directly accessible through the hotel. Also, the food mall with some shops is a must so. In front of the hotel building I was facing a huge flower statue, which offers places to take a seat and enjoy the sun. I also went there for a little walk in the evening to enjoy the colorful lights. The hotel is about 4km distance to Shibuya area. One way with the monorail is only 3 stations and 170¥.

The area around the hotel is magical with small streets and many shops around. It is lovely but not loud and especially in terms of the actual location of the hotel, which takes place from the 30th floor on, one will be staying within a lively part of Tokyo but spoiled with privacy and discretion. When I got back to my room in the evening I was surprised with the turn down service. Some sweets and a traditional night wear was left in the room for me. I've been shooting in my room for a little while to keep these beautiful memories alive forever.

spa wellness japan

On my last day, I went to the spa and fitness center, which just reopened after the annual inspection. I've been blown away by the pool area. The spa and fitness facilities are in the 30th floor and as you can imagine the view has been breathtaking due the fact that the hotel is not only a skyscraper, but also an all over panorama - style- glass building which faces a magical view in each direction.

I was very happy that I could explore yet another of the Prince hotel properties. I will still travel within Tokyo until next week and keep being excited about the properties that I will still be able to explore.
