My trip to Japan is still very recent and there is still content that I want to share with you guys. I spent some of my last days in Hiroshima, where I had the pleasure to discover another property of prince hotels. Today I´ll review my experience and let you know more about this historical property..
The arrival at Prince hotel Hiroshima is super easy and comfortable. The hotel offers a complimentary shuttle. As I was arriving in the night, the shuttle was already out of order. However, the public transport is reliable and there is a bus that drives all the way to the hotel. Hiroshima has a good connection and guests can arrive by plane, bus, coach, taxi, train and probably a lot more options.
When I arrived at the hotel I was absolutely fascinated by the glamorous appearance. I was kindly welcomed by the stay, who took care of the luggage and guided me to the check in counter, where the lovely staff assisted me with fluent English to check in. After that I went all the way up to the room, which offered a wonderful view to me. The hotel is out of the city and is next to the port. One will see many ships passing by and enjoy a very peaceful area.
The room was a little smaller than the other rooms that I was staying at with prince hotels but had a charming and cozy atmosphere with a wonderful use of the space. Supplied with all needs, and a marbled bathroom, including a bathtub I already got myself ready for bed as it was super late.
The hotel also offers its guests a lounge, where one can access drinks, snacks and a smaller business center. The staff was very helpful and took care of me as you guys know that my food requests are always a little bit “outstanding “. It is also a lovely place to come over and finish some work, so as I did. As the lounge is in the upper floors I can guarantee amazing views that reach near to the city center.
For those who need a break there is also a fully equipped gym, including weights and cardio machines. The gym room has a panorama view and a run on the treadmill feels like a run through the mountains.
Within the same floor guests will also be able to access the spa, where various treatments are offered. Guests do also have access to onsen and a pool area in the first floor, which is however only accessible through the spa entrance. At the pool guests will also receive towels and even pool toys are available without any charge.
The hotel offers various restaurants and breakfast stations. The main favorite is the breakfast in the 23rd floor, which is also the top floor. It is always busy over there but the view is a dream. The buffet is always refilled and there is a wide selection of any kinds of food. Also, an egg station is available during the breakfast buffet, which is always popular.
Beside the hotel is also connected to various shops, where one can shop clothing, souvenirs and some food to go. Beside that I can highly recommend do take a few photos in the lobby area, which is a dream able space, with a huge fountain and a beautiful flower arrangement.
The stay with the Prince Hiroshima has been my last one with prince hotels during this trip in Japan and it was phenomenal ending to a wonderful time and an exciting journey. The prince Hiroshima is a luxury escape that combines pleasure and business and was something “new” for me to experience. Surrounded by the mountains I had finally time to calm and enjoy the breathtaking views that Hiroshima is known for.
Hiroshima is a lot more than just the historical place that suffered a tragedy. It is a modern city with a lot to offer and an exciting holiday escape.
