Within today’s article I will take you to Dubai, in detail to the JA Ocean View hotel, which is located in JBR area, next to Marina in Dubai. This area has been my favorite district of the city, ever since my first trip in 2016 and I was really excited to stay for the first time in a JA property in Dubai, located just next to the beach..
The five-star hotel offers sea views and private balconies. It invites its guests to watch the sunset over the Arabian Gulf, along with a possible lounge access, making one´s stay unforgettable and even more exclusive. There is a total of six room styles at the JA Ocean View hotel. I was staying at the spacious Sea View Junior suite, which would also give me access to the lounge on the 24th floor, where I would enjoy the sunsets and even a light dinner. The suite comes with 55 m² and hosts up to two adults and two children. The room style comes in a variation of king and twin beds and has an en-suite bathroom. I enjoyed watching Ain Dubai from my room, which is world´s biggest ferris wheel, located on Bluewaters Island.
Guests of the JA Ocean View hotel have wide access to different activities and experiences at the hotel. Besides the fact, that the beach is just a few steps away from the hotel, one has access to various leisure activities. From options to unwind by the swimming pool with its 1200 m² dedicated sundeck and sun loungers, to paddle tennis, and a fully equipped – one could have it all.
The 25-floor hotel Connects 3 top restaurants on the one roof. One of it is Motorino, which is a hotspot not only for tourist but also for locals. It is the world-famous New York pizzeria is ‘stalked by fame’ and renowned as ‘the best pizza in New York’. Loved even by celebrities, the iconic urban venue has 9 locations worldwide, one of it in Dubai, at JA Ocean View hotel on JBR The Walk. Motorino offers multiple vegan options including vegan pizza and multiple other dishes like pasta or desserts.
The offsite bar is a live sports lounge, where one could find the biggest indoor screen in JBR & Dubai Marina area. The location is more casual and offers different kind of tapas and drinks, along with the option to play dart and pool. It is also suitable for bigger groups.
For lunch I would definitely recommend a stop at Il Motto in the ground floor of the JA Ocean View hotel. Il Motto is a classic Italian restaurant, offering authentic food, complimented by selected wines from Italy. Within their signature dishes one could indulge on sandwiches and paninis.
What makes the JA Ocean View hotel so special when staying in Dubai? I believe it’s definitely the location of the hotel along with the multiple lifestyle offers, all gathered in the hotel with a fully covered food concept and a suitable offer for families traveling with younger kids.
Personally, I enjoyed the access to the lounge the most and would recommend booking a room with lounge access, which gives a great value. From perspective as a solo traveler and following a special diet, I felt well assisted and even found great options without making special requests. The 25-floor hotel offers a total of 342 rooms, giving guests great privacy and also a good selection of room types reaching from 39m² to 75m².
