One night in Abu Dhabi. For the end of my two and a half months trip, I had a short stop in Abu Dhabi, where I would spend one night at the Ramada by Wyndham Abu Dhabi Corniche hotel..
For my one night stay I was allowed to stay in an “Executive City View 1 King Bed” room-type, suitable for up to two guests. I really enjoyed the design of the room as it would come with wide windows, which would spread natural light to the room and offered views on different angles of the neighborhood.
It was actually my first stay in and Ramada hotel which is also part of the Wyndham rewards program. The Wyndham rewards program offers guess to collect bonus points that can be redeemed for discounts or even complimentary nights in various locations. I also just started to join the program and will keep you updated about future stays.
When it comes to traveling, food is a very important topic to me that makes my trips memorable. I really enjoy local inspired dishes. The kitchen team of the property is very skilled and took good care of me during my short stay. Coming from the fact that I follow a vegan nutrition, the hotel invited me for a vegan lunch on my day off my departure. It was a multiple course menu, designed on my personal taste. Even for the breakfast buffet, I would have a wider selection, as it included many plant-based and vegetarian dishes. Besides multiple hot dishes there was also a salad bar and choice fresh fruits.
The pool on the rooftop was my absolute highlight, besides the gym in the 18th floor, with a panoramic view. I enjoyed fresh coconut, pineapple juice and fruits on the rooftop next to the poolside. A special offer of the hotel, that I didn´t introduce yet, is that it has an own Starbucks within its facilities. There’s also a daily offer for afternoon tea every day and original Starbucks coffee being available within the entire house. Personally, I don´t drink coffee, but I´m sure that this is a welcomed offer for many staying and future guests.
The four-star hotel is from my view of perspective a great choice for those who want to enjoy Abu Dhabi for a quick city trip, as it’s centered and only 30 minutes away from the Abu Dhabi international airport. The hotel team was dedicated to offer the best possible service to me and was very supportive for of all my requires and needs, per example a late checkout. I was just in Abu Dhabi in April, but I really want to return, as I feel like I didn’t see enough of the city yet, even on my third trip. Abu Dhabi might be different from Dubai but definitely worth a visit, as it´s coming with a different kind of charm.
