I was recently visiting Dubai. The bright metropolis in the UAE remains one of my favorite cities in the world. I have been traveling to Dubai multiple times already and discovered various parts of the city. On my recent stay I had the pleasure to discover the city through the perspective of the luxurious 4-star hotel Ramada by Wyndham Barsha Heights Dubai..
From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with genuine warmth and hospitality. The staff ensured a seamless check-in process and surprised me with a personal welcome gesture, which instantly made me feel valued and welcomed. As I entered my room, I found a welcome drink, personal letter and a gift placed on my bed. Due to a late arrival, I enjoyed the room service and ordered some of their vegan options, before falling asleep in the soft king-size bed, after a long flight from the Philippines.
The room, beautifully decorated and equipped with modern amenities that catered to every need, became my home for 4 nights. The plush bedding provided a restful night's sleep, and the expansive city views added to the charm of the stay. With a huge terrace being offered, I was able to sway away with immerse views out of the 11th floor. Furthermore, I want to state the hotel's commitment to eco-friendliness was evident, with initiatives in place to minimize plastic use with refill organic soaps and shampoos provided in the bathroom, in order to support a greener future.
A special feature of the hotel is the luxurious lobby, an outstanding feature of the hotel's elegance, offering a sophisticated setting to relax or plan activities and arriving back “home” after a long day in the vibrant districts of Dubai. The concierge service assisted me in arranging my cruise through Dubai Marina, showcasing the hotel's convenient location near major attractions and transport hubs. I enjoyed the serene night scenery on an evening cruise through Marina, which again reminded me why I´m so fascinated by the city of Dubai.
One of the highlights of my stay was the culinary experience. The hotel's dining options were exceptional, featuring a variety of cuisines and innovative dishes. The all-you-can-eat sushi at UCCI Restaurant was a particular favorite, showcasing fresh flavors and impeccable presentation. The brunch offerings were extensive and inclusive, with generous vegan-friendly options that catered to all dietary preferences. It was heartening to learn that leftover food from these meals is donated, reflecting the hotel's commitment to social responsibility.
Situated near Dubai Marina, the hotel provided easy access to iconic landmarks and vibrant neighborhoods. The nearby train station made it convenient to explore the city, from the bustling souks to the towering skyscrapers. The hotel's central location allowed me to immerse myself in Dubai's vibrant culture and diverse attractions effortlessly. Besides the hotel offers a complimentary shuttle multiple times a day, heading to various locations, the iconic JBR area included. For those who seek a less adventurous holiday in Dubai, the hotel also features a spa, along with a steamed room and a wide pool area.
